What do you stand for?
If you had to think of three words that would capture your guiding principles in life, what would they be?
Honesty . . . Integrity . . . Adventure . . . Family . . . Dedication . . . Leadership . . .
In the Tao Te Ching, Laozi, reminded his followers:
I have just three things to teach:
Simplicity, Patience, Compassion
These three are your greatest treasures
Simple in actions and in thoughts
Returns you to the source of being…
We live in a noisy world. Each day brings another assault on your senses; pulling your attention in a million different directions. Other voices can quickly drown out your own voice.
Take a deep breath. Inhale. Exhale.
Bring yourself back to your three words; back to your fundamentals; back to your grounding principles. Before you make any decisions, remind yourself of what’s truly important to you. Then, moving onto step two of whatever is in front of you isn’t so difficult.
