Finding clothing that is both extremely comfortable but stylish can be very difficult. But here are the most important things to look out for when choosing loungewear.
Your Types of Activities
Are you working from home? Some companies, like Spectrumhealthcare.com will still require staff to look professional. If so, you can add some jewelry to look a little more formal. You can click here for some examples.
And how much movement will you be engaged in? You don’t want tight fitting outfits if you need to be moving around to take care of children or run some errands during the day.
The most important thing to remember when trying to match loungewear with jewelry is matching color tones. The following rules apply to both your skin tone and color of your loungewear. It all depend on whether your jewelry will be sitting directly on your skin or your clothing.
Tone Colors
If you have light colored hair and light blue or brown eyes, you probably have a “cool” skin tone. Cool skin tone matches best with blue, purple, or red colored jewelry, earrings, gems, and stones. White metals and white golds also go well with cool skin tones, along with traditional white pearls.
If you have red or strawberry blonde hair and bright blue, green, or hazel eyes, you probably have a “warm” skin tone. Warm skin tones match best with green, orange, and yellow colored stones. For metals and gold, go with copper colors. And for pearls, go with silver tinted pearls.
If you don’t fall into either category, then you have a “neutral” skin tone. Which means there is no set rules that apply and unfortunately (or fortunately!), you just have to do a lot of experimenting.
